Africa Trade Academy has completed a theee weeks training programme to strengthen the capacity of Access Bank’s Gloabl Trade Team.
The training dubbed “Professional Development Course in International Trade Finance and Global Trade Operations” aimed to strengthen the technical capacity of the bank’s trade operations team to meet the demands of an increasingly complex and dynamic global trade finance environment.
The training was delivered by Africa Trade Academy’s faculty made of senior trade finance experts with extensive experience in banking operations, documentary credits, and global trade transactions. The training content was developed based on international standards and frameworks established by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), including INCOTERMS®️ 2020 and other relevant ICC instruments, continental frameworks, protocols, and opportunities shaping intra-African trade, including the AfCFTA and regional economic communities.
