Africa Trade Academy, as part of a consortium working with Adam Smith International in Ghana, Nigeria and Egypt, is developing an AfCFTA Step-by-Step Guide to bridge the information gap in import and export processes when utilising thr AfCFTA.
To this end, Africa Trade Academy, Dode Seidu facilitated a validation workshop with 15 institutional stakeholders on AfCFTA import and export processes.
The workshop presented and validated the processes of:

2. Exporter Certification with permit and licensing organisations
3. AfCFTA Registration
4. AfCFTA Origin Approval Requirements
5. Customs Procedures for Export
6. Import Process
7. Documentary Requirements
8. Utilising AfCFTA Dispute Resolution and Non-Tariff Barrier (NTB) Reporting Monitoring and Elimination Mechanism.
9. AfCFTA and REC Relations (ECOWAS)
10. Utilising Investment and Trade in Services Protocols of the AfCFTA.
