Africa Trade Academy Hosts Liberia SME Delegation

Accra, Ghana, 19 June 2026, Africa Trade Academy hosted a delegation of SMEs from Liberia at its Executive Learning Center in Accra. The delegation, led by the Secretary-General Madam Harris Karmo of the Liberia Chamber of Commerce and Dr. Charles Sackey, Team Leader, Grow 2 Liberia Project, were received by the Dode Seidu, Founder and Chief Executive of Africa Trade Academy and his team.

The visit was aimed at learning about how trade capacity building can improve agricultural value chain development, SME export competitiveness and ability to leverage on regional and continental trade opportunities including the ECOWAS Trade Liberalization Scheme and the Africa Continental Free Trade Area Agreement.

The delegation received a detailed presentation of Africa Trade Academy’s work in trade capacity building, trade research and trade advisory. Since its establishment in 2022, the Academy has trained over 5000 people from public and private sector across Africa on several trade topics.

It was emphasized the academy’s training were practical and aimed at professionalizing trade in Africa with international certified training programmes as well as professional development programmes.
